The aim of the master's program is to train competent specialists with high qualifications, who possess multilateral theoretical knowledge and practical skills, the ability to conduct scientific research and the availability of creative skills maritime tourism management, taking into account the requirements of the dynamic and growing tourism industry, recognized as priority for the country. As a result of training on the program, the future specialist will receive theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of strategic planning, effective management, organizational design and structural development of tourism organizations; Excellent knowledge of maritime tourism systems and the ability to analyze tourism policies; Ability to plan and independently carry out scientific research in the field of tourism.
Learning outcomes
The program provides training of high-level specialists who will possess such competence: deep and systematic knowledge of maritime tourism and hospitality; knowledge of the structural characteristics of the products and features of the functioning of each sector of marine tourism and the international hospitality industry; Knowledge of the calculation of economic benefits and expenses of maritime tourism, user behavior, price management and distribution in tourism, specificity of tourist destination management, design and conducting scientific research in tourism, hospitality systems and policy analysis; Work in maritime tourism in conditions of multidisciplinary and uncertain environment; Analysis of current events in the global, regional and local markets of maritime tourism and determining their potential impact on the firm, the tourism sector and the activities of the country.
Prerequisites
Persons with bachelor's degree or an equal educational level who have succ essfully passed the minimum level of common master's exams and the exam inations in economics and English Language (B2) at Batumi State Maritime Academy.
