A graduate of this field of study is awarded the degree of inżynier (corresponding to Bachelor of Engineering).
One specialisation is available beginning from the 5th semester: Marine Computer Science.
Graduates of this field of study are among the most demanded specialists on the labour market. They may find employment in broadly understood IT sector including design, development and operation of IT systems, management of IT projects, creation and maintenance of websites, data base and network administration, IT services for enterprises, particularly for ones from the maritime industry. Remuneration in IT business is significantly higher than average salaries in Poland.
