The tendency towards growth in the maritime sector, specifically ports and logistics, that the republic of panama is experiencing is shown in statistics. It’s important for a country whose development doesn’t show any signs of decreasing, to encourage professionals through educational centers, especially if the professions are necessary for the economy and development of the country. The UMIP, through this new academic offer is innovating specialized careers through graduates who will have the knowledge to develop market strategies, distribution of merchandise, skills for handling international trade and knowledge of how it operates in other markets.

Objective

To provide students with the knowledge to perform successfully in high-level professional positions in maritime activities in terms of logistics and intermodal transport. Develop skills for its practical application in the logistics areas, modernizing the management of logistics applications through work tools.
