Aquatic BioScience major is trying to develop aquaculture industry and create aquatic bioengineering. Accordingly, this major accomplishes “the knowledge base of the aquatic bioengineering” and “blue topia” in the global world. The aims for students in this major is to have them become the qualified and professional experts in the field of aquaculture industry having the potential capacity to develop and manage the efficient implementation of aquaculture and fisheries-related engineering. The students in this major are also learning aquaculture and fisheries-related courses in bioengineering such as fishery genetic and breeding science, feed nutrition, molecular endocrinology, biostatistics and reproduction of marine organisms.
