The international master's program Marine Geosciences imparts the latest knowledge and methods in marine geosciences, closely linked to the research activities of marine research in Bremen and the surrounding area. The interdisciplinary character of modern marine geosciences is reflected in the subject-centred study structure.
With elective modules, an individual study profile can be compiled in the area of sedimentary structures and processes, biogeochemistry and geobiology, ocean crust development, but also on topics such as marine geotechnologies, marine resources and climate change. The existing knowledge of methods can be supplemented and expanded by freely selectable competence modules.
